Unilever Ghana MD, Mureithi to step down

Mr. David Mureithi who joined Unilever Ghana in 2010 as Managing Director of the company, is stepping down.

His resignation takes effect May 1, 2013, according to a statement issued by the Ghana Stock Exchange.

“UNIL announces that David Mureithi has expressed his intention to resign his position as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from May 1, 2013,” said the GSE April 2, 2013.

According to the statement, Mr Mureithi is leaving Unilever to “pursue other interests”.

Murethi took over from Mr Charles Cofie as MD of Unilever.
