Over 300 technology journalists, writers gather at IFA 2013 Global Press Conference in Italy
More than 300 technology journalists and writers from all over the world are arriving in the island city of Sardinia in Italy for the 2013 edition of the IFA Global Press Conference.
The annual event is organised by Messe Berlin of Germany, one of the leading exhibition organisers in Europe.
Like every other year, the privileged journalists receive first-hand information and insight from industry leaders in the international Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances business.
They also get to see and experience latest innovations and new products lines from manufacturers.
Germany has the largest number of media houses invited for the event – journalists from 29 news organisations from that country are attending. Journalists representing news organisations from six African countries have also been invited to join colleagues from 50 other countries of the world. The African countries with representatives are Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Kenya, Congo and Ghana.
Ghana Business News is representing Ghana at the three-day event starting off Thursday April 18, 2013 with a welcome dinner, to be followed by industry briefings, product presentations by exhibitors on Friday April 19, 2013. There will also be market research presentations and media discussion panels.
The press conference that concludes the event takes place on Saturday April 20, 2013.
