Ghana election petition case adjourned to April 22
The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned to Monday, April 22 the continued cross examination of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, second petitioner in the Election Petition case.
Mr Tony Lithur, Lead Counsel for President John Dramani Mahama, first respondent in the case, cross examined Dr Bawumia in Court.
Dr Bawumia is the second petitioner in the Election Petition case. The others are Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, and Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Chairman of the Party, who are challenging the outcome of the 2012 elections.
The atmosphere at the Supreme Court was calm throughout the session, with social activities going on without any hitch.
