Ghana’s security heads meet to review national situation
Heads of Ghana’s security agencies are meeting to review the state of affairs in the country.
A press release issued by the Ministry of Information and Media Relations, says the officials will hold “a high-level meeting to review the security situation and take decisions intended to improve the safety and security of the citizenry.” The meeting it says will take place at the Flag Staff House in Accra, Friday May 10, 2013.
In attendance will be the Chief of Defence Staff and his service commanders, the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the Ghana Prisons Service, the Director of Immigration and the Chief Fire Officer.
The Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani, and the National Security Coordinator, Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey (Rtd.) will also be present, the release said.
