Emirates offers reduced Economy Class fares

emiratesEmirates Airlines is offering promotional fares on its Economy Class tickets from 10th June, 2013, a week after it offered a 15 per cent reduction on its Business Class fares.

A statement sent to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by Stratcomm Africa on behalf of Emirates Airlines on Monday, said “from the 10th of June 2013, Emirates, one of the world’s fastest-growing international airlines, will be offering exceptional fares for Economy Class passengers to some of the world’s main cities; allowing passengers to spend their summer holidays in some of the top destinations the world has to offer”.

Travelers can fly from Accra to Johannesburg and Cape Town with prices starting from as low as 989 dollars and to New York for 1,522 dollars, Kuala Lumpur for 1,172 dollars and Bangkok for 1,522 dollars.

“Passengers traveling in special economy class can enjoy competitive fares to Delhi from 1,572 dollars and Beijing from 1,641 dollars. These are valid for bookings and sales made from 10th June to 30th June, 2013 for travel until 31st July, 2013”, the statement said.

Other key cities included in this promotion are Beirut, Mumbai, Delhi as well as two of Emirates’ newest destinations: Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Osaka.

These fares are valid for bookings and sales made from 10th June, 2013 for travel from the 10th to the 19th of June or from 16th July to 4th of December, 2013. Fares are valid for weekday travel only and are inclusive of taxes.

Emirates currently serves Accra daily, with the Boeing 777-300ER, which offers 12 luxurious First Class seats, 42 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 310 generously-sized Economy seats. EK 788 departs Accra at 1845hrs and lands in Dubai at 0630hrs. EK787 leaves Dubai at 0740hrs and arrives in Accra at 1240hrs.
