Offinso Municipal Assembly retains PM

Incumbent Presiding Member (PM) of the Offinso Municipal Assembly, Mr Prempeh Pambour Karikari, has been re-elected to serve another two-year term.

Forty (40) out of the 41- member assembly voted to approve of his nomination, with one person dissenting.

Mr Karikari expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence bestowed on him and vowed to work together with all the members to bring development to the Municipality.

Mr Baffour Kesseh Amankwah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), praised the Assembly for the maturity and peaceful manner the elections was conducted.

He urged them to continue to put the common good of the area ahead of partisan political considerations.
