Veep leaves Accra for Switzerland
Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur left Accra Monday evening for Schloss Spiez, Switzerland to attend the Adam Smith Seminars.
The Seminar, which is slated for June 25 and 26 of this month, is a gathering of global economists, finance ministers, central bankers, chief executives of corporations and people in academia from all five continents to discuss regional and global economic issues.
A press statement from the Office of the President and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the Vice President had been scheduled to address the gathering on: “The Present Conditions, the Economic Policy and the Outlook for the Economy and Investments in Ghana”.
The statement said the Vice President was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr Kweku Richetts-Hagan.
The Vice President is expected to return on Saturday 29th June 2013.
