Upper Manya Krobo Assembly confirms DCE

Mr Joseph Angmor, was on Tuesday confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Manya Krobo District Assembly, in the Eastern Region.

He was re-nominated by President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr Angmor polled 47 votes representing 98 per cent of the 48 valid votes cast to maintain the position which he had occupied since 2009.

The confirmed DCE expressed gratitude to the assembly members for the confidence reposed in him.

He called for continued support from the members to enable him complete the developmental projects he had started.

Ms Helen Adjoa Ntoso, Regional Minister, said the DCE could facilitate the Better Ghana Agenda.

Mr Joseph Kodzo Nomo, the Presiding Member, urged the members to make dialogue their weapon instead of resorting to blackmailing and backbiting whenever they think something was going wrong.
