Central Regional Minister swears in seven DCEs

Seven new District Chief Executives (DCEs), were on Monday sworn into office by the Central Regional Minister, Mr. Samuel Sarpong, at his residency in Cape Coast.

They are Mr.Francis Kofi Korankye- Sakyi , Lower Denkyira, Mr. Theophilus Amoo-Mensah, Gomoa West, Henry Kwaku Hayfron, Mfantsiman, Mr. Ibrahim Kweku Dawson, Ekumfi, Mr. Peter Light Koomson, Ejumako, Mr. Nii Ephraim, Efutu and Mr. Samuel Adom Botchway for Asikuma.

Mr. Sarpong tasked them to work hard to bring accelerated development to the people.

He reminded the DCEs that they could not accomplish that feat without collaborating with stakeholders in their districts.

Mr Sarpong advised them to solicit the support and wise counsel of opinion leaders to enable them to deliver to help achieve the better Ghana agenda.

Nana Baah VII, Chief of lower Saltpond, entreated the Chief Executives to be disciplined and truthful in exercising their duties and do things that would bring peace and progress to their areas.
