Three-member team to manage Asante Kotoko
A three-member team headed by ex-player, Samuel Opoku Nti has been tasked with the day-to-day administration of Asante Kotoko.
Other members are Charles Opoku, Accountant and head coach, Mas-Ud ‘Didi’ Dramani.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that the trio has been put in charge to make up for the void created by the resignation of Executive Chairman, Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong.
Dr Sarpong’s unexpected exit has created a vacuum at the managerial level as he also oversaw the day-to-day administration of the club.
According to a source, Opoku Nti and the two others are to act until such a time that Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II makes a final pronouncement on the future direction of the current league champions.
The appointment of the trio come barely 24-hours after the Board, named legal practitioner Paul Adu-Gyamfi, as interim Chair. The locus of the Board however remains unknown.
It is however not known if the three-member team will report to the Board or Manhyia on issues bordering on the progress of the club.
Kotoko has made the news in recent times with revelations on the transfer of players the bedrock of the headlines.
