Barber remanded for possessing narcotic drugs
Kwadwo Antwi, a 28- year-old barber has been remanded into prison custody by the Juaso Circuit Court for possessing narcotic drugs without lawful authority.
The accused, whose plea was not taken, would come back to court on August 15.
Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Joseph Obeng told the court presided over by Mr. Alex Obeng Asante that the accused lives at Bomfa near Konongo.
He said the Konongo Police, acting on a tip-off on July 29, raided the shop of the accused where he was believed to be selling narcotic drugs.
When the shop was searched, 81 wrappers of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana were uncovered and was arrested.
