DCE promises even distribution of projects

Mr De-graft Fokuo, Asante-Akim District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asante-Akim South, has assured the people of even development through fair distribution of projects.

He said the assembly would do everything possible to make sure that none of the 120 communities is disadvantaged.

The DCE gave the assurance when he inaugurated a washroom built at Asuboa near Dampong.

The GH¢64,000.00 facility was funded through the assembly’s share of the District Development fund.

Mr Fokuo said the assembly would work hard to meet the expectations of the people by bringing progress to them.

He asked the communities to take good care of the social amenities they have been provided with and also rekindle their self-help spirit by taking the initiative to better their lot.

Baffour Kwaku Ofori II, Omanhene of Asuboa, appealed for speedy completion of the Asuboa-Asankare road project.

He gave high marks to the assembly for the significant development strides it is making.
