52 private candidates receive free tuition
The Minister of Energy and Petroleum Resources, Mr.Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has organized classes for 52 candidates to prepare them for November/December West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE).
This is to assist candidates with deficits in the core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science, Project Consultant of the Ellembelle MP Remedial Project, Mr. Gabriel Amoh, told the GNA in an interview.
He said the project, which started in 2010, has so far registered over 300 students most of whom have cleared themselves and entered the universities and other higher institutions of learning.
Mr. Amoh said apart from these candidates, 100 other candidates who were not part of the registration also attendedthe classes free of charge.
He said the project had become an annual affair as the MP has demonstrated his commitment to the pursuit of education to fight poverty and assist students in the area.
