Head of departments urged to collaborate

Madam Stella Amoatemaa, Nkoranza South Municipal Chief Executive has called for collaborative efforts by Head of Departments in the Municipality for accelerated development.

She urged them to respect the views of their subordinates, share ideas with them and accept constructive criticisms in good faith for the assembly to operate efficiently and effectively for development.

Madam Amoatemaa made the call at her maiden meeting with Head of Departments at Nkoranza.

She appealed to them to attend the assembly’s meetings regularly and bring their skills, knowledge and experiences to bear on its activities, pointing out that, her tenure in office would only be successful with their support and encouragement, because the development of the Municipality was a shared responsibility.

Mr Ahmed Ibrahim Rufad, Nkoranza South Municipal Co-ordinating Director said the assembly’s doors were opened for the head of departments and the people and urged them to take advantage and visit the assembly with their problems and suggestions to move the assembly forward.

He advised the head of departments to undertake educational campaigns on their policies and programmes for the people to be well informed of their activities and be conversant with their civic responsibilities and live up to expectation.

Mr Ebenezer Amoah,  Nkoranza South Municipal Development Planning Officer said there would be regular meetings of stakeholders  to plan for the accelerated development of the Municipality.
