Samsung outdoors new Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Electronics has outdoored the New Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear at an event in Cape Town, South Africa, dubbed: “The Galaxy Note 3 World Tour.”
The Chief Executive Officer of Samsung Africa, Mr Sung Yong Hong said the Galaxy Note 3 and its companion, the Galaxy Gear are the right tools to design the lives of users.
He said the improved applications available to the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear would help empower users to discover their possibilities.
George Ferreira, Vice President of Samsung Africa said the new Galaxy Note 3 is designed to promote worry free life by the introduction of the Samsung Premium which provides for a door- step replacement of any accidental damage from handling the phone such as breaking of the screen.
He said there is a 24 months warranty for the phone and a dedicated VIP call centre to deal with all worries.
He said the Galaxy Note 3 has also been designed to provide a healthy life style and has a smart health application to provide information on health issues for life changing and life saving.
“The Galaxy Note 3 would also connect lives as there are many applications such as the WeChat, WhatsApp, ChatOn and yet to be launched BBM to connect family and friends,” he said.
Ferreira said the Galaxy Note 3 would also provide passion for life as it would provide entertainments such as movies through PANA TV, music and lifestyles and it would pay homage to the old celebrities while celebrating the new ones.
The Galaxy Gear is also a smart watch accessory that combines smart device connectivity, tailored technological features, and stylish design as a single premium accessory.
It has a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display which has a resolution of 320 X320 pixels and runs on a 800MHz processor along with a 1.9 MP camera.
The Galaxy Gear notifies users of incoming messages, such as texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages and creates the opportunity for users to accept or discreetly ignore those messages.
It can also be used to conduct phone calls.
