Tano North MP provides education materials to school

Ms Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Tano North, has presented educational and learning materials costing GHC4,000 to students and pupils at the Subonpan Local Methodist Primary and Senior High School in the Tano North District

The items comprise chalks, computers and accessories, pencils, exercise books, reading books and printers.

Ms Prempeh made the presentation when he visited the school last Monday and noticed that the schools lacked learning materials. He saw some of the pupils and students attending classes under trees while others sat on the floor because of inadequate desks.

Touched by the conditions of the students, Ms Prempeh pledged to provide the students with 20 dual desks.

She commended teachers in the school for their selfless and dedicated services and appealed to the Tano North Municipal Assembly to as a matter of urgency build school block for the school.

Mr Ernest Appau Darko, Headmaster of the school, thanked the MP for the donation and said they were particularly grateful for her quick response.
