Let’s accept to be more patriotic – Minister

Deputy Ashanti Regional Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr Lord Larbi, has rallied Ghanaians to accept to make the necessary sacrifices to push the nation forward.

He said they need to overcome selfishness, corruption and greed.

He was speaking at a public education forum held at Nkawie in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District, to remind the people of their civic responsibilities and to uphold the peace.

The programme, organized with support from STAR Ghana, was attended by representatives of the political parties, chiefs, religious leaders, traders and school children.

Mr. Larbi said everybody should share in the responsibility of making the socio-economic conditions better and put aside political differences and pull together to make things happen.

“It is important to create space for each one of us, whether we belong to the ruling political party or the opposition to contribute our quota to the development of this our dear country”, he added.
