Ada East District restructures sub-committees

The Ada East District Assembly has restructured its various sub-committees due to the carving of Ada West District from the assembly.

Addressing the 37-member assembly, at an extra ordinary meeting, Mr Jacob Ofori Caesar, Presiding Member said the restructuring of the sub-committees has become necessary and called on members to close their ranks to facilitate development.

He said with oneness they could discharge their constitutional obligation by developing policies that would enlist the support of the electorate.

He urged departmental heads to avoid lateness to work and other official assignments meetings and contribute constructively to the running of the assembly.

Mrs Comfort Doeyo Cudjoe Ghansah, Minister of State and Member of Parliament for the area commended the assembly members for coming together to restructure the sub-committees.
