Police arrests 23 prostitutes at Vienna City

The Rapid Deployment Force of Ghana Police Service has arrested  23 alleged prostitutes  at Vienna city, a popular spot in the Sekondi-Takoradi-Metropolis.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Olivia Ewurabena Adiku,  Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer, who made this known to Ghana News Agency on Sunday said some of the prostitutes serve as informants to criminals, hence the need for the swoop.

She said the suspects would be screened and those found culpable would be arraigned.

Those apprehended are Victoria Ofori 27, Vivian Panye 32, May Johnson 28, Zinabu Abubakar Siedu 30 and Princess Johnson 22.

Others include Tina Brown 28, Williams Natasia 27, Mavis Johnson 35, Mercy Amoah 33, Bertha Chucks 24, Maria Johnson 27, Patricia Peters 19, Elizabeth Kwarteng 25, Happy Appiah 20 and Francisca Opoku 20.

The rest are Joyce Boateng 27, Asabea Smith 28, Priscilla Amo 22, Irene Quansah 29, Faustina Baidoo 26, Theresa Botwe 25, Linda Ama Aboah Otoo 25 and Sunday Queen 26.
