Ghana’s Ayittey for World U-18 badminton championship

Ghana’s Badminton prodigy, Abraham Ayittey has left for Morocco, to participate in the Morocco International Under-18 Badminton championship.

The championship, sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF),is  fixed for Thursday 7th to Sunday, November 10, 2013.

It is among other Junior Internationals to be held in Africa till April next year to serve as a qualifier for the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics.

Ayittey, currently ranked 619 in the world, will be seeking to improve in the Men’s single event at the Morocco Junior International.

Ayittey is one of Ghana’s athletes under the Olympic Solidarity Scholarship for Badminton preparing for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games to be held in China.
