Police Homicide Unit takes over investigations of Seikwamanhene death

The Homicide Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department of Ghana Police Service has taken over the investigations of the death of Nana Kwaku Dwuma Ankoana II.

Nana Ankoana, Paramount Chief of Seikwa, in the Tain District of Brong-Ahafo Region, was shot on the night of Monday, November 4 while relaxing at his private residence at Seikwa by an unknown assailant.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Patrick Adusei Sarpong, Deputy Regional Police Commander, told Ghana News Agency in Sunyani on Tuesday that eight people have been arrested and five of them had appeared before an Accra Circuit Court.
