Sierra Leone kicked out of WAFU tourney

Sierra Leone crushed out of the on-going 2013 GOTV WAFU Cup tournament after losing 0-1 to Burkina Faso in their second round Group “A” encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi, on Saturday.

Sierra Leone, the first country to be eliminated in the competition, have themselves to blame for the lukewarm attitude with which they approached the match.

With a heavy defeat to Ghana in on match day one, they came into the second match as if nothing was at stake.
