Christmas traffic hits Sekondi/Takoradi
Human and vehicular traffic congestion continues to surge within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, with a few days to mark the Yuletide.
The situation can be attributed to last minute shopping by individuals and families.
The Paa Grant round-about saw about six police men trying to control vehicular traffic. The situation was not different at the harbour roundabout, and the various road outlets leading to the market circle.
At the market circle, business activities were briskly going on, while the banking halls were choked with people trying to withdraw their last penny for the Yuletide celebration.
Already, churches and popular joint centres within the twin-city are booming with activities, to welcome the Saviour’s birth, as well as the New Year.
