Accra and Palace Malls draw shoppers

The Accra Mall, the biggest shopping mall in the country and Palace Mall, were on Thursday filled to capacity by families and merry makers as they celebrated Boxing Day.

People from far and near trooped to the two malls to make merry with their families and Mr Arnold Owusu from New Abirim in the Eastern Region told the GNA: “This is my first time of visiting the Accra Mall since its opening and at least I have a story to tell my children back at home.”

Alhaji Mohammed Latif, a resident of Abeka Lapaz, “I am here with my family for the children to enjoy the play ground while I refresh my mind for the coming year.”

At Palace Mall on the Spintex Road the situation was not different as many people filled the place to buy or to window shop.
