Ghana Black Stars fall two places in FIFA ranking
The Black Stars fell two places down, to the 37th position in the latest Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), Coca-Cola World ranking.
Ghana slipped two places down after accumulating 714 points as compared to last month’s 685.
The senior national team has maintained her position as the fifth best side on the continent heading into the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), finals in January 2015.
Algeria remain on top followed by Tunisia that moved nine places to sit in 22nd globally, with Ivory Coast and Senegal in that order.
South Africa climbed six places to 51st place in the world and occupy the tenth position in Africa following an impressive AFCON 2015 qualification campaign.
World champions Germany are still in the lead ahead of Argentina and Colombia.
