KKD rape allegation: Police visit scene

Following an allegation of rape by a young lady against Mr. Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, popularly known as KKD the Finest, the Airport police have moved to the scene of the alleged crime.

A 19-year-old who was reported to have travelled in the same vehicle with KKD to the African Regent Hotel at the Airport Residential Area in Accra has made a report of rape against him to the Airport Police.

However, KKD’s lawyer Nana Asante Bediatuo has told Joy News that his client KKD, had ‘consensual sex’ with the teenager in the bathroom of a suite at the hotel and “other people were around.”

A source at the Airport Police station has told ghanabusinessnews.com that the police was at the scene of the crime around 3:30pm Sunday.

KKD was reportedly arrested Saturday night December 27, 2014 after a report of rape was made against him to the police.

He is in custody at the Airport Police Station.
