Asamoah Gyan remains doubtful for match against Algeria

Asamoah Gyan remains a doubt for the Black Stars’ next game against Algeria on Friday at the Estadio De Mongomo, Equatorial Guinea.

Gyan, who missed the first game against Senegal due to malaria has still not been cleared for the game on Friday, though he has had some light training.

Information gathered from camp reveals that, the captain will still have to go through some fitness exercise before being given clearance for the game.

According to the information, though he had some light training sessions, the medical team will need to observe him further on Thursday, when the team will have its last training sessions before the match.

Gyan is expected to return to the team as they battle Algeria on Friday in a must win contest.
