Interruption in gas supply won’t affect power generation at Aboadze – VRA

The Volta River Authority (VRA) says the temporal closure of the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant by the Ghana Gas Company Limited (GGCL) for mandatory maintenance from April 20 to 30, will not affect power generation at Aboadze.

A statement issued by the VRA and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Monday, said the Authority has adequate light crude oil in stock to operate the plants at Aboadze during the period.

The VRA had been informed that the supply of gas from the GGCL would be interrupted from Monday April 20 to Thursday April 30, for scheduled maintenance works, the statement added.
