IFA Global Press Conference returns to Malta
The world’s largest gathering of technology journalists, the IFA Global Press Conference 2015 (IFAGPC 2015) is returning to St. Julians in Malta for this year’s edition. The 2009 edition was held in Malta.
The press conference precedes the biggest global consumer electronics and home appliances exhibition set for September 4-5, 2015 in Berlin, Germany.
The organisers, Messe Berlin and Gesellschaft für Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik (gfu) are bringing together over 300 journalists from over 50 countries of the world. There are six media organizations representing the African continent – they are El Watan Economie from Algeria, Techweez from Kenya and Standard Newspaper from Zimbabwe. Nigeria is being represented by IT & TELECOM DIGEST, The Guardian Newspapers and THISDAY Newspapers. From South Africa are htxt.africa, Tech Made Easy and ZA Tech Show and Ghana Business News is representing Ghana.
With the largest representation, 23 media organizations, is Germany.
The three-day event from April 23 to 25, 2015 to be held at the plush InterContinental Hotel in St. Julians would include what is known as Power Briefings and Industry Product Showcases.
Like every year, the privileged journalists receive first-hand information and insight from industry leaders in the international Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances business.
They also get to see and experience latest innovations and new product lines from manufacturers.
The main event, the IFA Press Conference would take place on Saturday April 25.
