NDC are day-dreaming – NPP Chairman
Mr Kingston Kissi, Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described the National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives in the region as “day dreamers” in their claim to split votes with the NPP in the 2016 general elections in the Eastern Region.
He said, even for the NDC to have the vision that they would split votes with the NPP in their “Agenda 50-50” claim, showed that they had conceded defeat in 2016.
“If you want to fight your opponent and all you dream of is to draw with him, it indicates that you have lost; NDC have proven that they do not have a winning spirit, but we will surely show them what defeat looks like,” he said.
Mr Kissi said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Koforidua after he had donated four Nissan Navara pick-up trucks to the NPP regional office.
“The NDC’s Agenda 50-50 is dead on arrival; it has no spirit and for us NPP, we see no need to display our strategies outside the battlefield, the battlefield will show who is superior,” he said.
The Regional NPP Chairman put it to the NDC in the region to expect nothing but a massive defeat, come December 2016, saying, Ghanaians will show them the “red card.”
