Monday Africa Union Day is public holiday
Monday, May 25, has been declared a public holiday, a statement from the Interior Ministry said on Thursday.
The statement signed by Mr Mark Woyongo, the Sector Minister and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the Day has been set aside to mark the Africa Union (AU) Day.
It said, ‘The general public is hereby reminded that Monday, 25th May 2015, which marks Africa Union Day is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country’.
