President Mahama in Rome to discuss Ghana economy, security in Africa and migration
The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama is travelling to the Italian capital, Rome to meet Italian President and Prime Minister.
According the Office of the President, he leaves Accra today, July 15, 2015 and tomorrow, July 16, 2015 he will meet President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi for discussions.
The discussions will center around economic relations and pending bilateral agreements between Ghana and Italy. He is also expected to discuss peace and security issues in Africa, migration and Ghana’s position on the UN Security Council.
While in Italy, he will meet with Italian businesses with interests in Ghana, his Office said.
