Ghana drops two places in FIFA ranking
Ghana has dropped two places to occupy the 27th position of the latest Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Coca- Cola world ranking.
Ghana previously rated 25th slipped with an accrued point of 827 to go down but still maintains the best third on the continent behind Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire.
The Black Stars’ points were unchanged due to no matches played for the month of July to trade positions with Denmark for the 25th position.
World Cup Champions Germany moved to third on the log with Argentina and Belgium taking the first and second places respectively.
CONCACAF Gold Cup finalists and winners of the trophy for the tenth time, Mexico have risen 14 places to be ranked 26 whilst Copa America winner Chile moved a place up to tenth in the world.
