Ghana waives visa requirements for Rwanda citizens
Citizens of Rwanda travelling to Ghana would not need visas any more.
The government of Ghana has waived visa requirements for Rwanda. A letter to the Rwanda government by the Consulate of Ghana in Kigali signed November 22, 2015 says “The Government of the Republic of Ghana in a reciprocal act has waived the visa requirements for Rwandese travelling to Ghana.”
“Rwandese nationals will now go to Ghana visa free,” it adds.
While Ghanaians and all holders of passport from African countries can get visa on arrival in Kigali, they are not required to provide invitation letters and other requirements for visa acquisition such as economic and social ties in their country of residence. Indeed, there are no restrictions for this category of travellers when they want to enter Rwanda.
