Hearts of Oak Coach not happy with performance against Ashgold
Hearts of Oak head coach, Sergio Traguil has lamented over the poor performance of his boys after they were held to a 1:1 draw game by Ashgold at the Accra sports stadium.
Hearts of oak, who are currently leading the league table with 39 points, took the lead through Robin Gnagne from a spot kick.
In a post-match interview, Coach Traguil expressed his frustration on the poor performance of his team, which earned the miners a point, with a goal from Anthony Yerful.
“We started very well in the first 10 minutes but we allowed Ashgold to play too much, we stopped playing. We didn’t have a good first half, in professional football you can’t afford to give so much time to your opponent.”
“In the first half we gave our opponent 35 minutes of playing time and that can’t happen in professional football, I am not happy at all. In the second half we tried to do something, we tried to look for the second goal, we got chances but we failed to score, ” he added.
Hearts travel to Sogakope to face West African Football Academy (WAFA) in the match day 23 encounter.
Hearts are closely followed by Wa All Stars and Dreams FC, with both on 35 points, but the former has a game in hand.
