Ghana, alongside three others for AFCON 2017
The Ghana Black Stars have been seeded alongside host country Gabon, defending Champions Cote D’ Ivoire and Algeria for the Afcon 2017 tournament in 2017.
The Black Stars will be housed in Pot 1, with the three seeded countries.
Tunisia, will be in pot two, with Mali, Burkina Faso and DR. Congo, whilst former African champions Cameroon and Egypt will complete pot 3 alongside Senegal and the Atlas Lions of Morocco.
New entrants, Guinea Bissau will be in pot 4 with Uganda, who qualified for the first time in 38 years, along with Togo and Zimbabwe.
Ghana will know her opponents on October 19 in Libreville, Gabon, as the date set for the groupings with the tournament expected to start from January 14 and end on February 5 2017.
Ghana will be hoping to win the trophy in its 21st appearance at the tournament.
