Margins Group signs up for SDGs
Margins Group, a high security management company, has joined the “United Nations Global Compact” in pursuant of the United Nations seventeen eminent Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By joining the Compact, the Group will support goal nine of the SDGs which includes building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusion, sustainable industrialisation and fostering innovation.
Mr Frank Oye, Executive Director of the Margins Group, said the group intends to contribute to the success of the SDGs by subjecting itself to the tenets of the goals.
This was contained in a statement signed by Akua Tweneboa Asare and copied to the Ghana News Agency.
Mr Oye said: “The initiative presents an unprecedented opportunity for the company to align its business and sustainability goals with the SDGs. They provide the company with the mechanism for innovation and new market opportunities to facilitate business growth.”
“We are excited that we have an opportunity to contribute to this global initiative because of the positive impact it has made on our society,” he said.
Mr Oye urged other private companies to show interest in the SDGs as we seek to develop the society.
