Nyantakyi retains position on FIFA Executive Committee
Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, President of the Ghana Foitball Association (GFA), has retained his position on the Executive Council of Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
Mr. Nyantakyi polled 33 votes as against 17, by Leodegar Tenger of Tanzania.
The GFA President was last year voted onto the Executive Council and had to battle for renewal at the 55th General Assembly of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF).
Mr. Omar Constant Selemani of the DR Congo won against Côte d’Ivoire Augustin Sidi Diallo for the second slot reserved for Africa.
