Director urges Ghanaians to have confidence in Ambulance Service
Mr Derick Koranteng, Director, Ghana Emergency Ambulance Service Dispatch Centre of the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region, has assured residents to have trust in the Service to respond to emergency cases promptly.
He said the ambulance officials were well trained to serve the Municipality during emergency situations to save lives.
Mr Koranteng, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, urged the public to desist from calling the toll-free line if they did not require their services.
He said culprits would be dealt with according to law when caught.
He said the provision of emergency centres across the country was an essential part of integrated health care delivery to bring timely emergency services closer to the people.
He said the Ghana Dispatch Ambulance Service was caring, professionally trained with experienced drivers as well as medical personnel.
