Editors Forum, Ghana elects new executives
The Editors Forum, Ghana has elected new executives who will run the affairs of the group for the next two years.
The election took place September 12, 2012 in Accra. The new executives were elected by acclamation.
Ms. Ajoa Yeboah-Afari maintained her position as the Chairperson of the group which is made up of editors, senior journalists and media educators.
The election was presided over by Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) General Secretary Mr. Bright Blewu who pronounced the nominees duly elected by acclamation.
The following are the executives:
1. Ms. Ajoa Yeboah-Afari – Chairperson
2. Dr. Doris Yaa Dartey – Vice -Chairperson
3. Mr. Emmanuel K. Dogbevi – Secretary
4. Mr. A. C. Ohene – Assistant Secretary
5. Mr. Edmund Smith-Asante – Treasurer
6. Ms. Wendy Asiama – Organising Secretary
7. Executive Members:
Mr. Akwasi Agyeman-Dua
Mr. Kwaku Nkrumah.
The EFG is affiliated to the GJA.
