Maputo All Africa Games bonus ready
The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced that bonuses for the 2011 All Africa Games held in Maputo, Mozambique are ready for collection.
According Hannah Hamid Issakah, Acting Public Affairs of the NSA, medal winners at the multisport event held from 3-18 September in Mozambique are to contact the General Secretaries of their respective sporting associations on the payment of the balances of their bonuses.
He said: “the exercise has already begun ad and all those who are yet to collect the remainder of the bonus should do so immediately.”
It will be recalled that Ghana claimed 17 medals at the 10th edition of the quadrennial event made up of four gold, five silver and eight bronze.
Gold winners were entitled to $5,000 each; $2,500 for silver whilst bronze medallists are due to receive $1,500.
