Bank of Ghana retains policy rate at 15% in November 2012
The Bank of Ghana today November 14, 2012 retained the policy rate at 15%. The policy rate or interest rate is the base rate at which the central bank lends to commercial banks.
The Bank has maintained the rate at 15% since raising it from 14.5% in April 2012.
The announcement was made at a press conference in Accra this morning by the acting governor of the central Bank, Dr. Kofi Wampah.
