Ghana President Mahama swears in first batch of Ministers

Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, today January 30, 2013 swore-in his first batch of Ministers at the Osu Castle, the seat of government.

Parliament on Tuesday January 29, 2013 approved the nominations of the seven Ministers who were announced in President Mahama’s first batch of appointees after January 7, 2013.

The seven Ministers are Alhaji Collins Dauda, Minister for Water Resources, Works & Housing, Minister for Finance, Mr Seth Terkper, Ms Hanna S. Tetteh, Minister for Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration and Minister for Information, Mahama Ayariga.

The other three included Alhaji Amidu Sulemana, Minister for Roads & Highways, Mr Clement Kofi Humado, Minister of Food and Agriculture and lastly Alhaji Inusah Fuseini as Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

They all signed the oath book after President Mahama administered the oath of office, allegiance and secrecy.
