Ghana to host 2013 Africa Domestic Tourism Investment Forum
Africa Domestic Tourism Development Agency (ADTDA) in collaboration with the Ghana Domestic Tourism Company Limited, is to organize Africa Domestic Tourism Investment Forum in Ghana on September 18 and 19, 2013.
The two-day investment forum will precede the Ghana Domestic Tourism Fair and Exhibition 2013 to be held from 20-22 September 2013, at the National Theatre Accra, Ghana.
This was contained in a statement signed by the press secretary of ADTDA and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Thursday.
According to the statement, the forum would provide a platform and present Africa’s domestic tourism sector as a major investment portfolio for opportunities and expansion to foreign and local investors.
It would also bring together investors, policymakers, governmental agencies and private entrepreneurs to dialogue in repositioning domestic tourism sector in Africa while re-orienting Africa’s tourism sector for new and emerging external markets.
Participants will also have the opportunity to network and create partnership with stakeholders around the world.
ADTDA, a registered non-governmental agency for the promotion and development of domestic and regional tourism in Africa, is affiliated to other sector organizations worldwide with the objective of providing employment for the youth through entrepreneurship ventures in domestic tourism and advocating for high professional standards in the industry.
