Kumasi Asante Kotoko has assured its teeming fans of a comfortable win in the first match of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Champions League match on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors play their Equatorial Guinea counterparts, Sony El Nguema, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong, the Executive Board Chairman, said Kotoko was hungry for success and that they had put in place adequate measures for a successful campaign.
The playing body and technical team, he said, have been sufficiently motivated to play their hearts out adding that, the management and the board had met with the leadership of the supporters to rally them behind the team for success.
Kotoko last won the continental trophy in 1983 and had since been struggling to repeat the feat.

They include Togolese-import, Sheriff Mahma, Abdul Aziz, formerly of Real Tamale United, Bobie Ansah, a former Kessben player and Kofi Agyare, formerly of Hearts of Oak.
He vowed that they would go all out to ensure a massive victory to make the return leg a walkover.
