National Badminton team to commence second phase of training
The National Badminton team, would on Friday, March 22, commence the second phase of their preparations towards the 2013 All Africa Junior Badminton Championship in Algeria, at Takoradi, in the Western Region.
In all ten players are expected to participate in the three day training session, which would end on Sunday, March 24.
Ignatius Elletey, General Secretary of BAG told the GNA Sports that, the players would be under the supervision of the national coach Frank Shamo and Dr. K.A. Asamoah.
He said the second phase of the training session forms part of a well laid out programe ahead of the championship fixed for April 14 to 20, 2013 in Algeria.
Among the invited players are; Abraham Ayittey, Mohammed Adam, Emmanuel Botwe, Lawton Hamilton, Diana Archer all from Takoradi; Richard Aidoo, Grace Atipaka – Suhum; Ebenezer Andrews, Eunice Arthur – Winneba and Stella Amassah from Takoradi.
