Effutu to get World Bank funded projects – DCE

The World Bank is sponsoring a number of projects in the Effutu Municipality under the Urban Development Grant Support programme.

Nii Ephraim, Municipal Chief Executive on Tuesday performed a ground-breaking ceremony in Winneba for the commencement of the projects, which comprise the construction of pipe culverts and U-drain at Ndaamba in Winneba Township.

Others include a road network and construction of culvert for the phase one of a light industrial park at Ansaful Extension to relocate artisans at Winneba Junction and Winneba Township, and the construction of a slaughter house at Seed Company Area near Winneba Roundabout.

Nii Ephraim urged the contractors to work within the time frame time and avoid the execution of shoddy works.
