National Security makes no changes – Coordinator

Lieutenant Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey, National Security Coordinator (NSC) has reacted to reports of the appointment of a new Deputy NSC, saying that no changes have been effected at the National Security Council Secretariat.

A statement signed by Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday said the NSC and his two Deputies are still at post as the President has made no new appointment.

The statement noted that Mr Koku Anyidohu, a former head of Communications at the Presidency has not been appointed to any particular position at the National Security Council Secretariat.

It said Mr Anyidoho and other officers have been asked to report to the NSC to be assigned.
