German philanthropist supports Ghana’s Symphony Orchestra
A German philanthropist, Mrs Eva Buckman on Friday donated three violins and a flute to the Ghana Symphony Orchestra.
Mrs Buckman was full of appreciation to members of the orchestra for their good works.
Mrs Amy Apiah-Frimpong, Deputy Director, in charge of Artistic at the National Theatre, expressed appreciation to Mrs Buckman and called on other public-spirited individuals and organisations to come to the aid of the Orchestra.
Mr Isaac Annor, Director of the Symphony bemoaned the poor condition in which the Orchestra finds itself and urged the media to pay particular attention to it.
He said the Orchestra would very soon start performing high life tunes
