Voltic renews water supply pact with Accra Psychiatric Hospital
Voltic (GH) Limited, has renewed its partnership with Accra Psychiatric Hospital for the next two years.
This is part of its contribution towards the development and improvement of the lives of people in the communities it operates in.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Voltic Ghana would provide the hospital with a monthly supply of 10 cases of Voltic Natural Mineral Water and 30 bags of Voltic Cool Pac sachet water.
The previous one-year MoU expired on July 31.
Mr Peter Agyemang-Gyau, Deputy Chief Health Service Administrator and Mr Nsiah Anyetei, Deputy Director of Nursing Services signed the MOU on behalf of the hospital while Mr Michael Effah signed on behalf of Voltic (GH) Limited.
A statement issued by the company said the support is based on Voltic’s desire to help health institutions to provide quality healthcare delivery to patients hence the extension of the MOU for a two year period.
Mr Agyemang-Gyau said the supply has helped improved the water situation at the hospital.
“The supply of your products over the past year to the facility has improved our potable water situation. It also came as a major financial relief on monies spent on the procurement of potable water and above all, the quality of your products has immensely satisfied our consumption,” he said.
Mr Effah said: “We at Voltic (GH) Limited have committed ourselves to help improve the lives of people in our communities and we embrace this partnership with the Accra Psychiatric Hospital as another opportunity to exhibit this commitment.”
He said the company is pleased to learn that the support it extended over the past year had made a tremendous impact and as a good corporate citizen, Voltic Ghana decided to extend the support for two years.
The delegation from Voltic led by the Corporate and Legal Affair Director Ms Adjoba Kyiamah, the Sales and Distribution Director, Mr Effah and the Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr Cyrus deGraft-Johnson later visited some of the wards to interact with patients on admission.
The Accra Psychiatric Hospital depends mainly on government funding. The hospital offers free treatment and feeding to thousands of needy patients.
